One thing I love about Germany is that fresh cut flowers are considered a necessity.  They are available everywhere, and they are cheap.  The other day, I ran into the grocery store to grab something quick, and I couldn't resist these cheery tulips for €1.99 a bunch.  They are just what I need to see when I look out my window at all the tired, gray, January snow.
