A Year In the Life

Jason and Whitney came with their family to spend the weekend, so we've been partying today.  

 We went to see 17 Miracles this evening, and with Jen and her family and Jami and her family, we took up more than two full rows at the movie theater.  The movie was awesome, although perhaps a bit too serious for Lukie.  It is about the Willie and Martin handcart companies, so it is a far cry from the Pixar/Disney movies we usually take him to see.  He kept asking questions, in full voice of course, like: why are they digging a hole (it was a mass grave),why do the wolves keep coming (to eat the people), and are THEY frozen, TOO (yes, those people are also frozen).  So, maybe it wasn't the best film choice for a 4 year old.  Oh well.

 Afterward, we all gathered back at Mom's house for some visiting and frisbee football.  Lovely!
