The American ambassador here in Germany has kids similar to my kids' ages, so we run into him and his wife occasionally around Berlin at various kid-related activities.  It is impossible not to notice them, because they are shadowed by a gang of secret service guys.  Every time I see the secret service men, the phrase "poor schmucks" goes through my head.
Here are the Poor Schmucks this morning at Adam's baseball game.

Question:  What is worse than sitting in the wind on a chilly morning watching your kid play baseball?
Answer:  Standing in the wind on a chilly morning watching a grown man watch his kids play baseball.
