This afternoon, Adam participated in his school's Rip-stick competition. Apparently, Rip-sticking is all the rage at the school, so the principal organized a big competition. Adam was sure he was going to take at least second place, but alas, he lost balance on one event and fell. So, no big prize this time. I was really proud of how he handled his set-back - after he fell, he just picked himself up and walked calmly to the side. I knew he was dying inside, but he didn't throw any kind of a fit, so good for him.
PS - Today was also Pajama Day at school - that is why Adam is wearing his super cool silky Karate Jams in the picture.
